Celebrating Milestones: The Journey of “My Guardian Angel”

We are thrilled to announce that we’re halfway there! Thanks to your generous support, we’ve reached the halfway mark in our fundraising efforts for our moving film “My Guardian Angel.” We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are deeply grateful.

In the spirit of our milestone, we want to celebrate the remarkable talent of our writer-director, Nya Chambless. Let us take a moment to highlight Nya’s exceptional way with words, as demonstrated in her poignant 3rd-grade poem:

Everyday

People walk every day, talk every day
Without a thought to those who can’t
We take life for granted
But life is never a grant

I know people who can
I can’t
So, I sit here all alone
Knowing I shan’t

Why are people so cruel
Why are they so mean
They tease and ridicule
Think their remarks are so lean

But a light
Small but yet
Catches my eye
A twinkle of light in a dark night

It shows me hope
It gives me light
It helps me rid myself
Of all my strife

Now they walk everyday
I see them still
But no longer will it
Give my heart a sad fill

Nya’s deep empathy and understanding of life’s harsh realities, beautifully expressed in this poem, resonate throughout “My Guardian Angel.” This touching film is not just a story of childhood cancer and resilience but also a testament to the power of true friendship, beyond circumstances, which Nya has been championing since her elementary years.

Join us in our vision and help us reach our goal to spread Nya’s heartfelt message to a wider audience. Together, we can amplify the power of empathy, resilience, and true friendship. Thank you for your continued support!

Thank – You to you Nya and to ALL the team that is putting “My Guardian Angel” together and making this project happen!! I believe you will inspire warmth and empathy in others. As a Death Doula I believe that empathy, resilience, and true friendship are some of the MOST important parts of our lives. Aurora was VERY BESSED to have YOU in her life and I love how you continue to share that blessing with others through your movie and your passion. I can hardly wait to see the movie – I will be watching for the release. Stay well and stay wonderful.
